Who We Are
Casting for Cardiac Kids is a passionate team of volunteers, donors, and community partners committed to supporting children born with heart defects. Through our annual events — the Hooked on Hearts Gala and the Hooked on Hearts Classic Fishing Tournament — we raise awareness, funds, and hope for pediatric cardiac care at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.

- Hooked on Hearts Gala: A celebratory evening with dinner, inspiring speeches, and silent & live auctions to raise awareness and funds.
- Hooked on Hearts Classic: A fishing tournament bringing participants together for fun, friendly competition, and fundraising — all benefiting children with heart defects.

About The Johns Hopkins Cardiology Team
The cardiology team of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Heart Institute provides expert, comprehensive cardiac care to children and young adults with congenital heart conditions, serving families throughout the greater Tampa Bay area and beyond. Almost 1% of all babies are born with congenital heart defects (CHDs), making it the most common type of birth defects. Babies, children and adolescents are living longer and healthier lives because of institutions like Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. All proceeds from the Casting for Cardiac Kids Celebrity Fishing Tournament will directly benefit the continued evolution and support given to the children Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Heart Institute cares for.

Our Privacy, Refund & Payment Policy
All online credit card transactions and donations are processed via Stripe our secure payment processor. All your personal data is kept with the Heart Kids Foundation, Inc. We do not sell, exchange or give away your personal data. Your payment information is encrypted on Stripe’s servers and is not available to anyone including us after you submit it.
If you prefer, you may request an invoice and remit check payable to The Heart Kids Foundation, Inc. Email info@casting4cardiackids.org to request an invoice.
We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. If you submitted a donation to us and need a letter or copy of your receipt, or a copy of our IRS 501(c)(3) letter, tax-ID or W9, please email info@casting4cardiackids.org.
If you change your mind and would like to withdraw your donation, please email info@casting4cardiackids.org to request a full refund.
